1Agreement
By creating an account or using SATPrep1600 ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and agree on your behalf. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service directly.
2Service Description
SATPrep1600 is an AI-powered SAT preparation platform offering adaptive practice questions, an AI tutoring assistant, diagnostic assessments, and score tracking. We also sell two one-time products: Premium Practice Tests (packs of full-length digital SAT practice tests) and EssayLens (packs of rubric-scored college-essay evaluations, delivered through Essay Studio). The Service is currently available to residents of the United States only.
3Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You must provide accurate information when registering, including your date of birth. We use this information to comply with applicable law.
4Subscriptions & Billing
Paid subscriptions (Premium, Premium+) are billed in advance on a monthly or multi-month basis. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Free trials. When a free trial is offered, starting one requires a valid payment card. Nothing is charged when the trial starts. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is automatically charged, on the day the trial ends, the price of the plan and billing period you selected as shown at checkout, and the subscription then renews normally under this section. You can cancel at any time during the trial from the Billing page; your access continues until the trial's end date and nothing is charged. Trials are limited to one per person and per account, may require completing the free diagnostic, and their length and availability may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Trial subscriptions are not covered by the 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, because the trial itself is the evaluation period. A promotional rate shown at checkout applies to the paid periods that follow the trial, for as long as stated at checkout.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply to the current billing period.
Subscription refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, including the 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee for first-time subscribers.
5One-Time Purchases (EssayLens & Premium Practice Tests)
EssayLens evaluation packs and Premium Practice Test packs are one-time purchases. Each is a single charge in USD processed by Stripe; nothing auto-renews and no card is kept on file. The price, the number of tests or evaluation credits, and the access period (lifetime or a stated number of days) are shown on the product card before you pay.
All one-time purchases are final and non-refundable. Because the content and credits are delivered in full at the time of purchase, we do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges — including for unused tests or evaluation credits, for packs whose access period ends before they are fully used, or for a change of mind. The only exceptions are those required by applicable law or a duplicate charge caused by a processing error on our side. See our Refund Policy for details.
Purchased tests and evaluation credits are tied to the account that bought them (or the account created at guest checkout) and may not be transferred, shared, or resold. Each product allows one active pack at a time — you can buy another once the current pack is used up or expired. Practice tests are limited to one full-length test per day. An essay evaluation credit is spent when an evaluation runs and is not returned if you later delete the essay. Practice-test scores and essay evaluations are advisory and carry no score or admissions guarantee; the Score Guarantee below does not apply to them.
6Score Guarantee (Premium+ Only)
Premium+ subscribers may be eligible for an "+80 point improvement or your money back" guarantee subject to eligibility conditions: 90 consecutive days of paid Premium+ subscription (counted from your first paid invoice — free-trial days do not count), a completed Full Diagnostic at enrollment, at least 2 full-length practice tests, 30 practice sessions, and 1 study plan regeneration within the window. 7Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or redistribute our content or AI-generated outputs
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the Service
- Input harmful, deceptive, or illegal content into the AI tutor
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
- Use the Service for any purpose other than personal SAT preparation
8Intellectual Property
All content on the Service — including questions, explanations, AI-generated study plans, and brand assets — is owned by or licensed to SATPrep1600. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal educational purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers any IP rights to you.
9Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any specific score improvement will be achieved (outside the explicit guarantee program above). SAT is a trademark of College Board, which does not endorse SATPrep1600. Essay evaluation services (EssayLens) provide automated, advisory feedback on essays you submit. Scores and suggestions are informational only and do not constitute admissions advice; we do not guarantee admission to, or any outcome with, any college, university, or program. Essays remain your property, are processed solely to generate your evaluation, are never published, and are not used to train models.
10Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SATPrep1600 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11Changes & Termination
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We reserve the right to terminate the Service or your account at our discretion, with a pro-rated refund for unused subscription time.
12Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
